I did this little sketch a month or so ago. Hopefully I’ll be able to clean it up and finish it very soon; I’d love to paint her with acrylics because she has such awesome PINK hair – and I have the perfect paint to boot!

The Golden Mermaid – Sketch

My next acrylic piece! ^^ It’s going to be all light green-blues in the water, pale blue sky with fluffy white clouds and the mermaid herself will be golden (duh). I might post progress shots…I don’t know yet. ~_^

BTW, she’s clinging to a rock that juts through the surface of the water as waves crash around her. My sketches are always so messy, heh… e_e

Petals in the Wind

I did the lines for this late last year and originally intended to finish it with watercolour paints but ended up leaving it for a while. I found some cream coloured paper and decided to give it a try with coloured pencils! ^^ The dress depicted is one that I made and you can see it here.
