About the Artist

I was born in the late 70’s with a vivid imagination and the drive to create. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed drawing many things including various animals, landscapes and people. As time went on my interest turned to the realm of fantasy. Having enjoyed fantasy films for my entire life (Legend, The Dark Crystal, The Neverending Story, Willow, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, etc), I guess it was inevitable.

As much as I love fantasy art, games, costumes and stories I more than happily live in the real world. I am a Christian and married to a wonderful man named Andrew and we have a son aged six, Tarran. We homeschool our son and although it is not something I would recommend to every family it most definitely suits us. I adore teaching him and watching him learn.

I am a self taught artist and seamstress and I believe anybody can become accomplished in whatever they desire with a bit of determination and self discipline. Many free resources are available via the internet to help artists learn what they must to become successful. Only by practicing and challenging yourself will you see improvement in your work, and as the old adage goes – practice makes perfect.
