The Twilight Forest

The cover for Chapter One of my webcomic, “The Twilight Forest.”

Coming soon! ;)

Kitty!!!

Andrew bought us a KITTY yesterday!!! My husband is the best, love you babe!  <3

I named her Nova and if you can guess where the inspiration for her name came from you’ll get a cookie! ~_^

Anyhoos, here’s some photos of her on my computer chair. And that bright pink thing on the right behind her is part of my desk. Yes it is that pink! XD

<3 Nova! <3

<3 Nova! <3

Update for Sah coz she’s a whingey-bum! :P

Yeah, you heard me! :P

Anyhoos, here’s a quick look at a couple of digi pieces I’m working on:

A purdy white tiger.
I don’t know if the green background will stay the way it is…I might do something more foresty, but I’ll see.

Nissan Skyline
A pressie for my brother of his beloved skyline!
Cars are so hard to paint for one who is accustomed to painting living things… e_e
But I will get it done and done GOOD!!!

I’m also very close to finishing an acrylic piece of a centaur I started a while ago, and she’s looking pretty good even if I do say so myself!
But it’s to hot to mess with the scanner so you’ll have to wait until she’s finished before I post her – haha Sah! :P

Toodles for now!

Kitty Sketches

A tiger cub, aww! ^^

And a leopard.

ACEO – Cloud Kitty

Mmm, cloud comfort…

Her Companion

Acrylics on Canvas.

This is painting is full of firsts for me: it’s the first time I’ve painted on canvas, the first time I worked at this bigger size (16×20 inches), and the first time I’ve ever painted a tiger! :D It’s also the right side of a two piece display. There’s a story behind the tiger in this artwork, but I’m not going to talk about it. You can make up your own tale for now. ~_^

You can see the Original Sketch Here, and the Work in Progress Here.

Her Companion – WiP

This painting is coming along nicely. ^^ It’s fun to be working at a larger size, in fact it’s the biggest traditional work I have ever done! ;) Anyhoos, the background is pretty much finished and now I just have to work on the layers of fur and stripes. :)

(He looks more like a lioness or a cougar at this stage, but the white fur and dark stripes are coming next, along with much fluffiness!) ^^

Her Companion – Sketch

My first step into the world of painting on canvas! O_O My wonderful hubby bought me an easel so now I can finally paint on canvas – woooooooooties! :D So here’s the sketch for my very first canvas painting (16×20 inches)!!! He’s going to be a white tiger with a mottled green/blue background I think…I’m not sure yet, I think the background will just come together as I paint. :)

My five year old son helped me put some of the stripes on, see if you can guess which ones. ;)

Interrupted

Kitty! :D From sketch to final artwork in watercolour paints and coloured pencil. ^^ LongStock’s cat Bruce was used as a reference for the pose.
