The bodice is almost finished. There’s three layers of material – brocade on the outside, satin on the inside and interfacing in between them to strengthen, with eight pieces of boning to give it shape. I just have to overlock the edges, make the holes for the eyelets then finish the edges with some bias tape. 
I should mention that in the final dress & bodice there will be no visible stitching on the oustside! ^^
