Illustration Friday Entry – 2007.
Another one for IllustrationFriday.com, this time the theme was “Open.” Now before I receive any complaints from flower loving people – this is not meant to be a lily. Yes I used a lily as a reference, but the flower itself is significant to Myriddian’s story and completely fictional.
Anyway, lilies don’t grow on thorny vines.

The Blues – Sketch
October 3, 2007 — KatA very rough sketch of my character Myriddian – and for those of you that don’t know, she’s wearing a mask to cover the ugly scars on the right side of her face. It’s actually for Illustration Friday’s theme this week of “The Blues” so however I finish this, it’ll have blue somewhere…somehow. I dunno if I’ll get her finished in time, but it’s gonna be fun anyhoos. ^^
