Searching – Work in Progress

Started painting this without sketching first! I just painted splashes of colour onto the canvas and refined as I went. It’s come together very quickly! The figure is all on one layer which is really odd for me, heh. I’d usually have several layers by now just for the figure. But it’s certainly been fun working this way!

I used a photo by the stunning FaeStock on deviantART for a reference. I’ll finish this soon and may even post my process if anyone’s interested.
