CHARACTER PORTRAIT COMMISSIONS
All commission prices include a white or simple coloured/textured background. Detailed backgrounds cost more and prices vary depending on complexity. Describe what you would like and I’ll sort out a price for you.
What I will paint:
I’m happy to paint characters with jewellery, armour and weapons, clothing and slight nudity. Your characters from games like WoW, Skyrim, Dragon Age/2, City of Heroes/Villains, DDO, LOTRO, etc are welcome.
What I won’t paint:
I won’t paint machinery/vehicles, erotic poses, overt gory scenes or pagan themes/symbols. Have a look at my work and you’ll see the subjects I’m comfortable with. If you’re not sure please ask. I’m only an email away.
What to do:
Please send me an email including the kind of portrait you would like (eg: line art, full body portrait, simple background, etc), a description of your character and links (if you have them but they’re not required), to any references you think will be helpful. I’ll reply with a quote and an estimate on how long it’ll take to finish your commission. Usually between 1-4 weeks depending on my schedule, how quickly we communicate, the complexity of the artwork and so forth.
I prefer full payment up front but I do accept half up front and half upon completion for artworks over US$50.00. I’ll show you a preview image of the final piece and send the full version after payment clears.
What you get:
You’ll receive a print ready 300dpi jpeg of the final image at A4 size (approx 8.5 x 11.5 inch).
You retain the rights to your character, but I retain all rights to the artwork itself – you DO NOT have permission to sell prints or anything else with my image on it. By hiring me you are agreeing to abide by these terms.
Payment:
I accept payment through Paypal.com in US dollars.
What I’ll do with the artwork:
I will display the artwork on various websites as an example of my abilities but I will never sell prints (or anything else), of your commissioned artwork.
Non-character related or commercial commissions:
I’m available for other kinds of commissions, please email me your idea and we’ll go from there.
